Three kinds of Beneficiation methods of Copper Mine

There are many kinds of copper ore, the main mining in China is chalcopyrite, followed by chalcocite and bornite. In addition, there are natural copper, tetrahedrite, blue copper and malachite and so on. So far, more than 280 kinds of copper minerals have been found. The copper deposits in China are mainly concentrated in Tongling in Anhui Province, Zhongtiao Mountain in Shanxi Province, Dongchuan in Yunnan Province, Duobaoshan in Heilongjiang Province and Dexing in Jiangxi Province. There are many mineral processing methods for copper deposits. Today we introduce three commonly used mineral processing methods for copper ores. 

1. copper ore flotation method. 

Because many copper mines are accompanied by many other metals, there are three kinds of copper flotation methods. The first is preferential flotation: when the ore contains two or more useful minerals, the flotation process in which the useful minerals are selected as a single concentrate one by one. The second is the process of mixed flotation when the ore contains two or more useful minerals and the flotation method is used to select all kinds of useful minerals as mixed concentrate (and then separate all kinds of useful minerals). 

The third method needs to use the flotation equipment, because of the large stirring strength of the copper flotation machine, it can make the ore particles with large particle size and density produce the effect of suspension, and promote the dispersion of refractory reagents at the same time. When the copper mine enters the machine, after layer by layer processing, it will float together to the surface of the pulp to form a mineralized bubble layer, and other mineral particles that are easily wetted by water, that is, mineral particles commonly known as hydrophilicity, do not attach to the bubbles, but remain in the pulp. The mineralized bubbles containing specific minerals are discharged so as to achieve the purpose of mineral processing. 

2. copper ore magnetic separation method. 

Different magnetic separation methods should be selected for different copper mines. Generally speaking, if the impurities in the copper mine are mainly magnetic, then the copper tailings magnetic separator should be selected for copper magnetic separation; if the impurities are mainly strong magnetic, the permanent magnetic cylinder magnetic separator should be used for operation. The more times of magnetic separation, the finer the particle size of copper ore, the better the effect of removing impurities. 

After the magnetic drum rotates, the copper mine is uniformly given to the magnetic field by the electromagnetic vibration feeder. With the rotation of the magnetic drum, the magnetic material is adsorbed on the surface of the drum. When the magnetic material is taken to the magnetic zone with the magnetic drum, it is removed, and the non-magnetic particles and if the magnetic particles are subjected to different magnetic forces, so the throwing trajectories are also different. Through this kind of work flow, the impurity is removed and the copper mine is selected. 

3. mechanical separation of copper ore. 

This method uses the collision and friction of the crusher to remove impurities in copper ore, because the efficiency of this mechanical separation method is very low, so this method is rarely used at present. We usually choose flotation or magnetic separation.
