When the rotation rate is 80-85% of the critical speed, the ball loading rate of the ball mill should be 40-45%. 

When the grinding speed at high speed is 100-120% of the critical speed, the ball loading rate is about 35%. The ball loading is less and the grinding efficiency is low; if the ball is loaded too much, the inner ball is easy to interfere during operation, which destroys the normal cycle of the ball, and the grinding efficiency should also be reduced. The loading rate of lattice ball mill is 40 to 45%, and that of overflow ball mill is 35 to 40%.
